Chad joined the pastoral staff at CBC in April 2008 after serving the SC Baptist Convention at the White Oak Conference Center (WOCC) for over two years. Prior to his service at WOCC, Chad served as Minister to Students & Families at Westminster Baptist Church (Westminster, SC) for ten years and also as Minister to Youth & Activities at Hopewell Baptist Church (Seneca, SC) for two years. He earned a BS degree in Christian Education from Toccoa Falls College and has also completed some master level studies through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Chad has been married to his wife Shena since March of 1997 and they enjoy their family of pets (five dogs and two horses). Chad serves as a Volunteer Coach for West Oak High School and is also very involved with the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Huddle. He also maintains a close contact and works with the SC Baptist Convention Youth Ministry Team.
