Scott joined the pastoral staff as Associate Pastor of CBC in June 2001 after serving Lydia Baptist Church (Newry, SC) as Associate Pastor and Students. In June of 2002, Scott became the Senior Pastor of CBC after serving six months as the interim pastor. He is a graduate of Fruitland Bible Institute and has earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Covington Theological Seminary.
Scott and Denise have been married since August 1992, and have two daughters Olivia and Leanna. Scott's vision is to see CBC become an effective disciple-making church that is relevant and practical to the needs of those in the community and beyond.
