Bethesda Ministries Food Bank: Drop off your “extra” GROCERIES in the main hallway container.

Dot’s Soup Kitchen of Westminster: Our Preparation, Serving, & Clean-Up Team serves on a variety of days each month from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Foothills Crisis Pregnancy Center: The Ladies Ministry is once again helping the F.P.C.C. with collections. Our CBC volunteers have shared with us that they are noticing that the center is in great need of laundry detergent (any brand). All collected donations are washed prior to giving them out @ the clothing center. There is a container located in the main hallway for you to drop off your laundry detergent items.

Lakeview R&R Program: The Acts 1:8 Team  accepted the opportunity to be a blessing to the residents @ Lakeview Assisted Living. We adopted room # 4 & the two residents (Pauline Hammond & Louise Smith) & have  helped to renovate their room in a variety of ways (new windows, new paint, new curtains, & new bedding. Thanks to those who have volunteered in this effort.

Operation Christmas Child: CBC plans to take a team of students & adults, again this year, to the Boone, NC Processing Center on December 9-11. Last year was our first team experience with “packing boxes of love” for children all over the world. WOW, what an experience! A sign-up sheet is located in Room 300 (Youth Room). Participants must be 13 years of age or older to attend the weekend experience (this is an OCC policy).

Shoes for Steve: Collection dates are October 1st—November 13th. In the Upstate, 40% of homeless males have served in the military.
